Let Us Keep to the Point
"When we think seriously about what it will cost others if we obey the call of Jesus, we tell God He doesn’t know what our obedience will mean. Keep to the point— He does know. Shut out every other thought and keep yourself before God in this one thing only— my utmost for His highest. I am determined to be absolutely and entirely for Him and Him alone."

Clean Water Africa PSA
This is a very powerful video that I've seen on a few blogs I read. It features Jennifer Connelly and shows what would happen if New York City's tap water went dry. What if everyone in New York had to walk to find water... just like millions in Africa do every single day. This video will make you think about how fortunate we are here in the US and will move you to want to help others around the world who don't have access to clean water.
If you'd like to donate some money to make a difference, visit Blood:Water Mission , Mocha Club, or Charity:Water.

I love our Youth Worker Team!
We had our annual Youth Worker Christmas Party last night. It was so much fun to be together. We ate together, read Scripture together, prayed together, and played the White Elephant Gift Game. I haven't laughed that hard in a while. I love hanging out with the adults who serve on our team. It's such blessing to serve alongside them and to watch them invest in students. I truly believe that one of the highest callings on the entire planet is to advance the Kingdom of God by investing your life in students. Loving students, walking with them in good times and bad, teaching them the Bible, praying with them, laughing with them, cheering them on, encouraging them, and praying that each one of them grows to be a fully devoted follower of Christ. What an awesome thing to give your life to!
Here are a few pics from our party last night. I love you guys and I'm so thankful to be serving with you!

Crazy Beard?
Neil (our other Student Ministry staff guy) and I are growing burly festive beards for "No-Shave November." I'm probably keeping my all the way through the New Year's Day holiday and then I'll shave it all off.
I got the link to this video from the YS email update this morning. You have to see this... so ridiculous!!!
